Your new role
The successful candidate will lead a global team of engineers who deploy automation solutions on the Mainframe and iSeries estate. The role will be part of a global Platform working with colleagues from around the world working to ensure that our service offerings are automated wherever possible and easily consumed by our users and stakeholders.
· Managing team workloads and priorities
· People and performance management
· Engaging with stakeholders to define use cases
· Deliver solutions based on stakeholder requirements
· Ensuring the services provided are current (eg at the right version level or patch level)
· Developing staff
What you'll need to succeed
Required: Mainframe technologies (e.g. CICS/DB2/System Admin)
Optional: CA OPSMVS, CA AutomationPoint, Ansible, Puppet, Splunk
· A self-motivated team player with good project management skills
· Effective communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
· Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
· Proficiency in English language speaking and writing skills required. Experience of working with global team across geographies and cultures
Nice to have:
· Knowledge and understanding of Service Orchestration and Automation Platforms
· ITIL v3 Foundation
· Agile ways of working awareness
