For our client, an international IT Services company located in Katowice, we are looking for a Problem Manager. The role might be fully remote.
Your new role
As Problem Manager you will be responsible for:
- Driving the problem cycle (from root cause investigation to permanent solution) in adherence with process requirement
- Preparing and evaluating root cause analysis (problem tickets handling), evaluating risks
- Cooperating with other ITIL and non-ITIL processes
- Tracking problems and performing corrective actions to agreed KPIs/deadlines
- Acting as an interface between processes, technical groups and business
- Organising and chairing problem investigation and problem board meetings
- Acting as escalation point to expedite problem resolution
- Ensuring that problem management KPIs are targets are met
- Ensuring good quality RCA
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor degree in information science, mathematics, natural science, engineering or similar
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Good understanding of ITIL V3 and ITIL V4 processes and principles confirmed by ITIL Foundation certificate (will be a plus)
- Minimum a year of problem management or project management experience
- Good command of written and spoken English (B2 at least) and good communication skills
- Willingness to business travels
- Pro-active behavior, taking initiative to improve our daily work
- Strong decision making skills, ability to take action when needed
- Ability to work under pressure
- Assertiveness
