Portfolio Solutions Architect

The key responsibility of this role is to define the appropriate solutions for “Digital Decisioning” initiative and then ensure developments adhere to design principles and solution blueprints.
+8 years of total experience in IT
At Least 3 years’ experience as Technical Lead or Architect
Experience to build high level proposal (eg. Clear Choice) and articulate the pros and cons, in Business term, to ensure conscious decisions are made
Experience with analysing requirements and providing fit for purpose solution designs following best architecture practices
Ability to manage proof of concepts, exploratory projects to identify, evaluate and eventually adopt most suitable solutions
Experienced to coach the engineering team to follow technical guidance and best-practices
Effective communication skills, graphical, written and verbal for technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with agile methods, along with having found their limitations and ways to overcome them.
Should be able to support Domain architect to run Technical Architecture reviews
Experience in Architecture, Design, and Implementation of highly scalable, highly available, Cloud services and solutions.

Key Technical stack requirement:
Experienced with Java, modern development frameworks and development CI/CD pipelines
Familiar with microservices architecture and leading technology stack such as docker, Kubernetes,
Experienced in designing internal/external APIs in secured manner in cloud and in on-prem environments (e.g. with mulesoft runtime)
Experience in applying the right design patterns for cloud and hybrid architecture (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure)
Experience on designing integrations using technologies like Kafka, Pub/Sub, REST, message queues
Following experiences would be preferable but are not mandatory:
Experienced in developing or leveraging APIs and API Gateways (e.g. Mulesoft, APIGEE) for runtime governance and security of backend services
Experience in developing microservices for docker and kubernetes deployments
Experience in using cloud solutions (e.g. GCP, Azure, AWS)
Usage of monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, NewRelic
Working with Confluence, JIRA, git, Jenkins, Sonar or similar tools used for collaboration and continuous integration.
Familiarity with modern engineering practices and Architecture standards
