Role Specifics:
Development:
- develops/builds IT solutions to meet business requirements,
- installs and configures solutions,
- integrates solutions with other applications and platforms,
- develops and/or implements reusable components,
- assists with development of custom test automation frameworks,
- performs script maintenance and updates due to changes in requirements or implementations,
- assists with setup and maintenance of environments for both manual and automated testing,
Deployment:
- builds automated deployment mechanisms using CI/CD technology,
- deploys new modules, upgrades and fixes to the production environment,
- documents and completes knowledge transfer to production support,
- works with Release Management to ensure modules are production-ready,
Production Support
- assists with monitoring of existing information systems to identify errors or deficiencies and develops solutions,
- Bachelor's degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or other related field or equivalent work experience,
- Typically requires 3-5 years of programming experience,
- Comfort with frequent, incremental code, testing and deployment.
- Knowledege of JAVA/J2EE and/or Node.js and Digital Technologies
- Previous knowledge of the following technologies: Maven, Spring, Jenkins
- Following experience will be a plus: AWS, PCF, MuleSoft, MongoDB, Cloud Computing Services
- Understanding of the development and testing principles, processes and methodologies (TTD, Agile, CI / CD)
- An understanding of distributed revision control systems and platforms (GIT/SVN)
- Innovative approach to solving complex problems with an excelent level of attention to detail
- A high level of motivation, quick to learn and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to travel for short period and work with team members in different timezones
- Fluent English
