OTC Accountant (maternity cover)

Our Client, a multinational bio-science company with a GBS in Warsaw, is now looking for an OTC Accountant for a fixed term!

Opis stanowiska

• Processing incoming/outgoing payments in accounting systems (e.g. cash allocation, customer account recons) and proceed with the bank statements and clearing accounts reconciliations
• Perform the necessary follow ups on the unreconciled items for the clearing accounts and perform control checks at month-end
• Daily allocate all payments to the correct subledger account and currency in line with remittance details
• Follow up and identify for posting of unknown cash receipts via bank, internally or through customer
• Handling queries from inside and outside of the company
• Performing independently various ad hoc tasks assigned by Senior Accountants and Team Lead from time to time
• Cooperating with other finance and non-finance departments e.g. Customer Service Team with an open mind and an eye for synergies
• Consistently meeting individual and team'sKPIs

Profil kandydata

• Higher education in the field of Finance and Accounting (or related)
• Fluency in English (at least on a B2 level)
• Previous experience in AR/OTC Accounting, preferably in an international setting
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Analytic thinking
• Working experience in SAP is required
