We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Oracle Administrator – Senior Engineer
Location: Kraków
The Infrastructure Enterprise Services job is responsible for leading in building and running enterprise services that enable DevOps.
Key Accountabilities:
Consolidate and reduce infrastructure complexity
Develop Cloud based infrastructure platforms and deliver infrastructure, platform etc. “as a Service” by working with Business & other DevOps teams
Determine the strategic direction and execute in each of the Technology areas under Enterprise Services responsibility
Risk and Cost Management
Ensure Service Quality Targets are met for offered services
Business stakeholder management to define product roadmaps and market available capabilities
Write development code, understand a DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline, and build automated test scripts (for infrastructure products and upgrades), and build automation interfaces between systems
Requirements:
Expertise on Oracle & RDBMS concepts
Strong hands on experience as Oracle DBA on Oracle 11.x & above. Experience on Oracle 12c preferred
Good working knowledge of Unix platforms
Strong on Backup/Recovery RMAN
Knowledge of ASM, Dataguard Mandatory
Good knowledge of Performance Tuning
Good understanding of PL/SQL
Awareness of monitoring and scheduling tools
Experience in setting up and supporting HADR – Active and Physical Dataguard
Thorough knowledge of Oracle OEM, Partitioning and Golden Gate
Experience running and supporting large databases under high transaction rates
Setup automation(s) to take out waste
