Currently, they are looking for Network Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for performing several duties for their overall objective of maintaining the network infrastructure of the organization.
Description
Manage IT infrastructure assets inventory (routers, firewalls, switches, access points, and other networking devices as needed)
- Renew yearly IT infrastructure assets maintenance and support contracts (routers, firewalls, switches, access points, etc.)
- Perform help desk duties to assist helpdesk technicians
- Support new IT infrastructure projects
- Assist in the preparation of IT infrastructure yearly budget
- Troubleshoot and resolve network outages and hardware issues as they relate to IT infrastructure
- Upgrade IT infrastructure as needed (firmware, application updates, security patches, etc.)
- Must be able to collaborate with other IT team members where infrastructure knowledge and skills are required
- Perform after-hours/weekend on-call support as part of a rotational support model
Profile
- 7 years of experience in Cisco networking, WAN/LAN networking, Voice over IP, virtualization, storage, and backup technologies
- Extensive knowledge in setting up Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, wireless LAN controllers, and access points. Must be able to configure and upgrade such devices as needed. Cisco ISE knowledge is required.
- Able to work with many pieces of hardware and software. Strong deductive reasoning and patience for troubleshooting
- Experience with explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and training them to use software and hardware
- Documenting work, or prioritizing requests for support
- Knowledge of how to manage MS Active Directory Sites and Services, Users and Computers, Group Policy, etc.
- Knowledge Routers, servers, PCs, printers, and other equipment all fall under this position. The engineer must have the knowledge and skills to manage LANs and wired/wireless networks to connect these devices
- Extensive knowledge in configuring VMWare network and storage for high availability/VMotion
- Extensive understanding of network concepts and techniques and how to apply them. VLANs/subnets, Voice over IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Troubleshooting network issues such as connectivity, latency, etc. related to the corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities' WAN and LAN

- Cisco Unified Communications knowledge
- Palo Alto firewall and SD-WAN technology
- Work with ISPs in deploying new internet circuits and coordinating circuit installs
- Cisco certifications
