Your new role
We are looking for .NET Developer who will be responsible for delivering enhancements to existing applications and creating new modules in a timely manner. Holding this position you will design and implement quantitative tools and resources to high standards using test driven development techniques. You will provide 3 rdline of Technical Support for the teams’ applications. Additionally, you will work closely with colleagues in the GVG team, onshore teams and end users. What’s more, you will manipulate large and complex data sets as well as provide prompt resolution of problem issues related to the relevant software. You will be involved in multiple projects across different locations globally, often simultaneously.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful Candidate on this position you need to be university graduate from a reputed institution in information technology or in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering with strong programming experience. Excellent programming skills (2+ years’ experience): C#/.Net 3.5/4.0/4.5, Winforms and/or WPF, Microsoft SQL Server are required. You should have knowledge about unit testing techniques and frameworks. You need to be effective team player with excellent communication skills, when having very good analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving. Additionally, a good understanding of Financial Markets, Derivatives and Banking would be seen as a strong positive (but is not essential). Solid verbal and written communications skills in English are highly desirable.
