We are currently looking for a candidate in the following role:
Middleware Administrator
A successful candidate will be a part of the team working with global Wealth Management business. The Krakow’s Wealth IT team consists of around 80 colleagues working cross functional and taking care of the applications helping thousands of people in different countries across the world to invest their money in various assets. Depending on the business needs, the new joiner would be assigned to work in one of the PODs, initially for the UK customers but with a possibility to work with other world markets.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for services, including resolution of live incidents, post-resolution problem management activities,
Investigate and provide technical expertise in finding root cause of system faults, diagnose problems, associated with middleware
Deliver high quality and timely project that exploit WAS and MQ technologies to our business/customers.
Work with overseas colleagues to offer consistent project delivery process across the globe.
Provide consultancy and advisory to our business/customer/internal stakeholders from the technical perspective.
Streamline technical execution and align the processes among different regions.
Build and Deploy servers to support the projects across the globe
Required:
Solid experience of WebSphere, MQ, Liberty, IHS and Porta
Strong understanding of IT hardware, software, operations and network
Proven experience of delivery to customers within agreed SLA and prioritization
Working with different cultures and experience of stakeholder management
Ability to manage and prioritize service delivery within a diverse and constantly changing technical environment
Ability to work under pressure and deliver within limited timescales
Strong analytical skills to quickly assess situations, their impact and options for resolution.
Good team skills which rely on honest open communication and reliability of individuals to strive to deliver an excellent service to the customer
Good inter-personal skills including the ability to influence peer group and negotiation skills.
Understand and interpret complex business and IT requirements
ITIL knowledge
Desire for continual learning,
Participate in an on-call rotation
Not required but desired:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minor or major in computer science, financial services / economics or numerical science
Experience of working on Wealth platforms, or Financial Planning platforms
Knowledge of SDLC/Agile methodology is advantageous
Knowledge of Ansible, Jenkins and AWS is an advantage
Jira/Confluence experience
