Medical Advisor (m/f)
The Medical Advisor contributes to the development of medical strategy and provides Medical input into Brand Strategies and Medical guidance and governance for all therapeutic areas ensuring support of the life cycle of all products.
Client Details
Our Client is a world-leading medical device company with more than 20 years of experience on the global market. The Medical Advisor role works to execute the medical component of the Brand Strategies, ensure team members are properly trained, and ensures medical (including Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS)) efforts are properly documented.
Description
- Contribute to the development of the Medical component of the company's Brand Strategy, and develop a Medical Support for each assigned product
- Leading the management of IIS (clinical studies), phase IV clinical studies, ensuring: proper documentation, contracts, oversight, payments, product shipments, logistics
- Work with Global Marketing Director and Marketing Director Americas to develop the KOL and Stakeholder engagement plans in accordance with the overall strategic brand plans
- Create and deliver medical trainings to the Sales & Marketing team
- Provide or collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop scientific tools required for them to successfully perform their job ( scientific platform content, presentation of new data, etc.)
- Contribute to the development, attend and present at appropriate meetings (advisory board meetings, investigator meetings, KOL meetings, etc.)
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship and interact Product Development Innovation and Regulatory Affairs teams
- Support the marketing and market access strategy for all company's products by being a key member on cross functional teams
- Review promotional materials and Regulatory documents for medical accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations
- Support the development/revision and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures as required.
Profile
-
MD, PhD or Pharm D and experience in relevant therapeutic areas
- 5+ years of experience in driving and managing the medical strategy for various brands in the pharmaceutical/medical devices industry
- Clinical research and trial management experience, and be able to interact authoritatively with key stakeholders and investigators
- Excellent presentation and teaching skills
- Independent, self-driven, pro-active, extrovert and dynamic
- Highly effective English communicator both orally and in writing
- Ability to form relationships quickly and have demonstrable persuasive abilities
- Good analytical and numerical ability
- Experience in working with MS office
- Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel
