ME Solution Designer

Location: Warsaw

Our Client is a part of the world's most international businesses from the FMCG sector, with brands sold in more than 200 markets around the world.

Currently, for our Client, we are looking for a Manufacturing Execution Solution Designer in Warsaw.

You will be responsible for:

• Driving the evolution of the relevant product(s), where appropriate by delivering through central capabilities (internal team and System Integrator (SI))
• Explaining the customer and business need to the immediate team, and collaborating effectively with them to break down complex pieces of work into smaller deliverable pieces of value; working with the team to write user stories and acceptance tests, providing direction on short-term tasks/near-term priorities
• Managing successful end-to-end delivery of product iterations, prioritising work and making appropriate trade-offs
• Communicating progress, proactively managing risks and issues, escalating to the Template Delivery Lead where necessary
• Collaborating effectively with other product teams, Manufacturing SMEs, Deployment teams, Data and Analytics team and others both within and outside the Programme structure
• Understanding and reporting progress against agreed outcomes and related success measures
• Using data to drive analysis of new features / iterations and drive prioritisation of future work
• Protecting the consistency of the template and ensuring the existing functionalities are leveraged as much as possible instead of developing new customizations
• Reviewing the functional end to end design to confirm its suitability in regard to business requirements
• Validating the delivered product to confirm its readiness for UAT

Main requirements:

• Degree educated IT professional with business-facing IT experience in a global environment
• Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with working knowledge of agile practices
• Strong people skills with ability to communicate, engage, influence and inspire colleagues and stakeholders (including cross functional senior stakeholders, relying on strong leadership skills when outside of the incumbent’s career function)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse processes and data to draw insight, and identify opportunities
• Proactivity and initiative, a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work unsupported
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to recognise the concepts of shared responsibility and effective collaboration
• Willingness to learn, experiment and collaborate
• Accountability for the delivery of the backlog
• Commitment to ongoing personal development and the ability to recognise and celebrate effort and success of colleagues

Previous Experience 

• A seasoned IT professional with, as a guideline 5 to 7 years’ experience in the field of IT Manufacturing
• Multinational FMCG (ideally tobacco or pharma) and FTSE-100 experience
• Knowledge of Serialization solutions, including code provisioning - ideally FSS, Inexto, UID Issuers
• Knowledge of manufacturing/packaging processes, especially in the context of Track and Trace
• Experience of product/project management, especially a Prince 2 practitioner with agile work experience
• Experience of implementing serialization for Tobacco Product Directive or other regulation (e.g. pharma industry)
