Master Data Expert
The MDM Expert will report to the Global MDM Program Manager and will provide leadership for Global Master Data Management (MDM) efforts for Global Projects and the European Region. The key purpose of this MDM Manager position is to support the global data governance model that establishes and documents data creation and update guidelines for all Master Data (i.e. Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, Bills and Routings, and Financial).

Currently, we are looking for MDM Expert that will provide leadership for Global Master Data Management (MDM) efforts for Global Projects and the European Region.
Description
The Master Data Management Expert will report to the Global Master Data Management Program Manager and will provide leadership for Global Master Data Management (MDM) efforts for Global Projects and the European Region. The key purpose of this MDM Manager position is to support the global data governance model that establishes and documents data creation and update guidelines for all Master Data (i.e. Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, Bills and Routings, and Financial).
* Act as process lead for workflows used for creation/change of master data,
* Take part in SAP global implementations (in terms of MDM),
* Identification of opportunities for process improvements and act as project manager owning project schedule/deliverables,
* Proactively identify risks/problems impacting MD projects and develop/implement solutions
* Drive compliance to established Data Management policies, processes, data dictionaries and data load formats,
* Review integrity of data sets on a quarterly basis to ensure governance is being followed and re-train where necessary,
* Ensure the quality and development of proper training and documentation,
* Approve security access requests for the region based on role and completed training.
The position requires frequent travelling to EU countries.
Profile
* 2+ years of experience in Master Data,
* Experience with SAP Master Data (Material, Vendor or Customer preferred) is preferable,
* Proven ability to establish and strengthen relationships with all functional areas,
* Strong proactive problem solving skills, analytical & technical skills, and understanding of business processes,
* Advanced Excel skills,
* Fluent English.
