Your new role
The Maintenance department is responsible for the technical condition, the
assembly lines of turbo chargers, and other things in the automotive industry, there are 22 employees work in the team on various maintenance projects. As maintenance Support Coordinator you will work in a day shift. You will organize and carry out the technical support for production and quality work out and work in a team with the Operational Quality Coordinator, Project leader PE, Production Leaders and report to the Maintenance Team Leader to improve production lines. You would be responsible for compliance with quality, safety, environmental, health and safety regulations and procedures, check and hold colleagues accountable.
You would be responsible:
lead
− Coordinating and subdividing maintenance activities of the Service Engineers and Senior Service Engineers based on highest priority tasks within the matrix project team.
− Coordinating the preventive plan for the maintenance activities.
− Taking responsibility for corrective and/or preventive problems that transcend shift or knowledge.
Support
− Guiding, motivating, instructing, supporting Service Engineers on, for example, corrective measure regarding the production department.
− Proactively participate in 5S and Kaizen improvement teams. Responsible for checking or maintaining documentation to complete & up-to-date and escalate to the Team Leader Maintenance in case of deviations.
− 1st point of contact for maintenance team will be Project Support Team and assembly lines.
− Conduct preventive investigations in causes of malfunctions on mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic field of the production machines. In the event of failures in the PLC equipment, determine whether repair and adjustments are necessary. Using measuring and test equipment to perform maintenance work.
− Determine in consultation with Production Engineering which new production methods will be tested.
Maintenance
− Coordinate maintenance tasks with the Maintenance department, production and third parties.
− Prepare planned downtime and analyse (un)planned downtime for corrective action.
− Perform failure analyses. Organize root-cause analysis meeting to solve problems with high MTTR (mean time to repair) and low MTBF (mean time between failures) and detect both corrective and determine preventive maintenance and follow-up actions.
− Applying and implementing HSE guidelines, instructions, legal and company regulations, etc
− Monitoring the KPIs in the field of: MTTR, MTBF, availability of the production lines. Identify critical parts in production lines and assign actions to them.
Data
− Collect data using production indicators such as SCADA, OEE, SAP for a dashboard. Review the production data daily and analyses using the production indicators dashboard and present findings and required actions to Management.
− Provide production data input and reporting to operational management for daily project team meeting.
Improvement
Contribute to the development and organization of the project team. Initiating improvement actions
with regard to of the development and organization of the project team. Presenting improvement proposals to improve the production process (Kaizen) and these according to the PDCA (W5, Isikawa, 8D etc) methodology. Organizing and leading Gemba-Kaizen activities.
What you'll need to succeed
− Technical education – Robotics/Mechatronics
− Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
− Fluent in English language, Dutch will be a nice to have
− Experience with ERP/dashboards such as SCADA, SAP etc
− Problem solving, ‘can do’ and Positive attitude
− Automotive industry experience will be an asset
