For our Client - International company with expanded IT Department, we are looking for Mainframe Security SME.
Your new role
The role covers CS Compute Mainframe across all Regions and will interface with other business areas
and departments, including all Cybersecurity domains, Global department Domains, Group IBM z Support and
Audit.
Deliver and maintain the IBM z Security Framework, which includes:
• Contribute to all related activities within the Mainframe (IBM z) domain.
• Defining and managing the IBM z projects.
• Defining and managing the IBM z security processes
• Driving security excellence within the domain.
• Defining CS control requirements for the IBM z security domain in policies and procedures
• Operating a first line of defense to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Providing consultation and subject matter expertise to the Mainframe Security function as well as the wider
organisation.
• Providing mentoring and on-the-job training for the MiT program and junior team members.
Major challenges:
• Implementation of the 1st LoD Activities for the CS Engineering Mainframe Security Domain
• The role includes; managing tasks and functional activities in collaboration with other Compute – Mainframe
team members across the Group, communicating with staff from diverse cultures across multiple time zones.
What you'll need to succeed
• Good Project Management skills and proven track record in delivering change.
• Deep knowledge of subject matter, specifically in relation to Mainframe Systems – IBM z
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
• Ability to think creatively to deliver innovative solutions
• Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across boundaries
• Ability to engage others
• Ability to work autonomously
