Logistic Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Engineer, who will be part of a project team and will handle operational tasks in Logistics in the area of Europe.

Our client is a global company, specialising in production of chemical materials. Their wide range of products is sold in many foreign markets.

Description

• Taking part in Logistics providers performance reviews and support a continuous improvement process with the Logistics Service Providers.
• Participation in negotiation support Purchasing department.
• Troubleshooting related to external providers and warehouses.
• Support fulfilment of On-Time target for shipments.
• Initiate improvements in all warehousing and logistics.
• Process New Product Introductions requests.
• Setup new external users & maintain vendors in the system.
• Ensure all activities are aligned with "Environment, health and safety" requirements.
• Be a key contact person to set up new business solutions and setting new logistics channels if necessary.

Profile

• Educated in Logistics and/or supply Chain.
• Experience in managing and optimization of logistics.
• Languages: English (B2) and German (nice to have).
• Ability to travel.
• Experience in multicultural environment.
• Analytical minds, oriented towards data and understanding business.
