For our Client, a global professional services Company that provides a wide range of risk, reinsurance, retirement, and health solutions company which creates new structures in Poland, we are seeking for candidates interested in a role of Lead/Senior Ruby Developer.
Your new role
Lead/Senior Ruby Developer will act as a technical representative with external stakeholders on behalf of the team and mentor other junior engineers. Working on this position you will provide technical guidance and hands-on experience in software development and work with the leadership team to define the platform roadmap, identify technologies to utilise and integrate, and ultimately deliver on the technical solution. Moreover you will produce clean, efficient code based on specifications, troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software and integrate software services and third-party services. We are looking for candidate who is capable of working as part of a team with other engineers to build and deliver features, participating in code reviews, identifying and applying best practices for software development. As a Lead/Senior Ruby Developer you will also specify, evaluate and approve design and implementation and create technical documentation for reference. Additionally you will prepare accurate implementation task lists/time estimates and deliver assignments based on requirements. Eventually, you will play a scrum master role.

What you'll need to succeed
- At least 5 years of experience in architecture design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of web applications.
- Experience in Ruby
- Functional programming knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of clean code principles
- Mastery of Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of the best practices around service-oriented architectures or microservices
- Experience with test-driven software design
- Experience in Ruby on Rails, Elixir, NodeJS, JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, Grunt, Webpack, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD environment, Google Cloud.
