We're looking for developers to join our growing team and help us build great products while contributing to our community with open source, writing, events, and more.

Job Summary

We’re an events company, coordinating events throughout the UK and Australia as well as with other event management companies to whom we license our software across Europe. We’re looking for developers able to learn, build and manage high-quality Ruby on Rails applications, fully test-driven. Qualified candidates should have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Unix, deployment, performance, debugging, refactoring, design patterns, and other programming practices.

While Rails experience is a must, we're also rapidly expanding our work into other languages and frameworks such as Elixir (Phoenix) and light JS frameworks. Experience or interest in these technologies is a plus.

Person specification

This postholder needs to have:

Entry level knowledge of Ruby on Rails and/or Elixir / Phoenix

Life revolving around Git & Github

SQL / PostgresQL

Good English communication skills - both verbal and written

Ability to prioritise against tasks, be punctual with good timekeeping skills
