We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Java Software Engineer
Location: Kraków
The purpose of the job is to assist the UK based team with replatforming of the HSBC Global Business Banking Proposition applications using the latest technologies.
Key Accountabilities:
Analyze and propose solutions based on business requirements
Efficiently translate these requirements into working software
Amend and produce specifications/documentation as required
Investigate live system faults, diagnose problems, propose and provide solutions
Complete projects in a timely manner
Requirements:
University or Technical College graduate (preferable in IT) followed by at least 3 years of programming experience
Good knowledge of or working experience with:
o Java 8
o REST, RAML, XML, JSON
o Spring Framework
o REST Security, SAML, OAuth2
o Clean Code Principles, Java Design patterns
o BDD/TDD, Continuous Integration
Experience in Apache Camel or/and Mulesoft is an advantage
Prior working experience in a bank or a financial institution will be an advantage but not a must
Proven experience of working in an agile cross functional team taking responsibility the for deliverables and quality
Proven experience of working in a continuous delivery environment
Be a team player – works well with other team members and values their efforts and contributions
Be a passionate and foregoing learner, always looking to better yourself and the products you create
Be a confident communicator i.e. good command of English in order to work with stakeholders onshore
