Java Application Developer (100% remote)

Java Application Developer:
The goal of the project is to automate and digitilize business process of our customer. From manual- and paper-based to IT-based. From technical perspective, our applications receive data in flat files which are parsed into DTO format and sent over ESB (JMS server) to persistance layer (Oracle, Postgres). Data is validated and errors are loggged during digitization process. End-users interact with data with GUI-based application (JSF, Primefaces), without a need to do manual checks or printing out documents. For CI/CD we use Git, Jenkins and SonarQube to automate builds, deployments, tests and reporting. We also use ELK stack for data analysis and reporting. If you want to work in UI area with Java-based solutions and you are interested in writing or improving algorithms with technologies like SpringBoot or Camel, then we will be excited if you join us!
Requirements:
Mandatory skills in Application project:
- At least 4-6 years of professional experience in software development using Java
- Excellent knowledge in JEE related technologies such as JavaServer Faces with PrimeFaces/Omnifaces, JMS, Servlets, SpringBoot, Hibernate
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks
- Professional proficiency of English language (this is our everyday project language)
- Good Knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, JSON
- Good knowledge of database systems including Oracle, PostgreSQL and SQL
- Good knowledge of design patterns and best practices for SOA and Microservice Architecture
- Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and practical experience in Apache Camel framework
- Knowledge of communication protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP(S), SSL/TLS, ISO/OSI layers
- Knowledge of XML standards and technologies (XSLT, XPath)
- Practical knowledge of good software development practices (Clean Code, GRASP, SOLID)
- Practical experience in CI/CD processes (Jenkins and/or GitLab CI), Maven, GIT, Ansible
- Quality assurance by peer code reviews, reporting in SonarQube, WhiteSource
- Practical experience in automated unit / functional tests with JUnit and/or Spock, Mockito, Selenium or others
- Experience in working in distributed, remote teams and Agile methodologies such as SCRUM
- Ability to cooperate with both customers and teammates
