For our client, international banking company located in Krakow, in order to meet the growing market demand for speed to market and to stay competitive in an challenging marketplace, we are looking for an experienced Technical Specialist to join the team of Scheduling and Workload Automation.
Your new role
You will be a colleague to 250 people working in severous countries on a project responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for a number of critical products across the organisation.
Your main responsibilities will be managing mainframe batch scheduler (Tivoli/IBM Workload Scheduler), maintain and exceed existing SLA's and ensure compliance to policies, work closely with the stakeholders to ensure all services deliver the solutions per agreed requirements with regards to project timeline.
Your role is to be responsible for working on complex and critical incidents and ensuring all is completed within agreed deadlines, project management activities will be applicable in the project, as well as providing the 24/7 on-call support if business requires.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideal candidate would have minimum 2 years of experience of Tivoli/IBM Workload Scheduler management (v 9.1 or later) with configuring the product, performing system upgrades, applying updates, executing disaster recovery, providing production support and troubleshooting for TWS/IWS infrastructure issues. Experience with testing, evaluating and deployment of new products functionality and/or fixing packs released by the vendor and strong mainframe background and knowledge of z/OS would be important too.
Additionally experience in implementing security/access controls using RACF/ACF2, maintaining associated products like CA, JCL Check, CA Endevor, Horizont XINFO etc., experience in working with Agile methodologies would be an advantage.
