IT Security Specialist
On this position you will work as a multi-skilled IT specialist with software, engineering CAD software and IT support in diverse and international environment and duties with in-depth knowledge of various computer hardware and software technologies.

Our Client (global IT start-up based in Warsaw) is looking for experienced IT Security Specialist. This role is a mid-level position for applicants with a passion for working with ongoing security projects.
Description
- Setting and implementing user access controls and identity and access management systems
- Monitoring network and application performance to identify and irregular activity
- Performing regular audits to ensure security practices are compliant
- Deploying endpoint detection and prevention tools to thwart malicious hacks
- Setting up patch management systems to update applications automatically
- Implementing comprehensive vulnerability management systems across all assets on-premises and in the cloud
- Working with IT operations to set up a shared disaster recovery/business continuity plan
- Assisting in the development of security requirements
Profile
- Min 2+ years of experience in Information Security
- Demonstrated experience of contributing to IT Security project
- Engage with product support team for troubleshooting and gathering client feedback
- Keeps up to date on advancements with respect to the trends and events in the information security industry.
- Networking knowledge
- Linux Administration skills
- Proven experience in application management, preferably in Guardium suit or SIEM system
- Experience with incident response
- Experience with vendor and client management
- Experience in applying best security practices into a cloud infrastructure
- Skills to analyze attacks on web technologies and identify their occurrences by analyzing events from servers and applications
- Ability to conduct risk analysis and threat modeling based on known types of vulnerabilities and attacks on web and mobile applications
- Experience in configuring the CI/CD processes and automation combined with their security assessment
- Good command of written and spoken English (at least B2 +)
