IT Retail Support Lead

As an IT Retail Support Expert you will be responsible for the support of POS-related matters as well as for the 2nd and 3rd line matters management.

Our client is a global leader from the manufacturing sector whose brand is recognized all around the world. For its new structures we are looking for an IT Retail Support Expert.

Description

• Day to day responsibility for service escalations from 1st and 2nd line teams
• Acts as a 2nd and 3rd level support for local retail solutions
• Monitoring of data feeds ensuring successful and timely data exchange between store and head office platforms (where not covered by a regional support team)
• Seen as the subject matter expert (SME) and "go to" person on the affiliate retail environments
• Supports the rollout of new stores through utilization of third-party resources and / or directly as applicable
• Supports the service transition for the introduction of new solutions into the affiliate store estate
• (Retail) Infrastructure & Asset management
• Supports the introduction of ITSM tools and processes for retail (standardization across the region)
• Ensures that localized needs and requirements are fully understood for any Global or Regional driven initiatives
• Supports the provision of data for reporting of KPI metrics
• Regional travels for the on-site support (e.g., twice a month)

Profile

• Language: Polish and English (both fluent)
• Understanding of retail especially POS
• Technical troubleshooting skills with ability to troubleshoot issues through to resolution
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
• Flexibility to support other business critical solutions within the retail environment as needed
• Methodical in approach
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines; ability to make decisions with limited informatio
