We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
IT Project Manager
Location: Kraków
Key Accountabilities:
Understand your services – know how your services operate, understand its infrastructure and the business value it provides
Creation of effective project plans to maximise benefits and minimise the risk.
Drives execution against developed plans within constraints, considering the delivery approach, key milestones and dependencies, requirements and scope, effort and resources, budgets and quality in line with company change methodologies.
Building positive stakeholder relationships providing regular updates to resolve high priority issues affecting the project
Actively promotes Group Data Strategy and assures clear alignment of the projects objective to the long term goals
Ensuring that all Technology Practices and associated tools are being adopted and adhered to within the Project
Accountable for functional line management and budget responsibility for the Technology component of the Change
Sets the pace and operating rhythm of the project in line with delivery approach, driving a culture of achievement and ensures pace by identifying and removing barriers to project success.
Responsibilities:
Working with the Product Owner and Technical Product Manager to establish effective controls, procedures and quality assurance processes for the product, in line with the Business Transformation Frameworks (BTF) and Agile methodologies
Manage, monitor and report progress, issues, dependencies, risks to Programme Manager and/or steering committees and make recommendations to influence decision-making in order to maintain progress towards delivery targets
Co-ordinates activities within a delivery team which may consist of more than one team (including suppliers / subcontractors), collaborating with the Technical Product Manager to negotiate technical dependencies
In some cases, manages change and implementation to ensure the change lands well and sticks, contributing to benefits realisation
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience where IT solution drives the business outcomes out of it 2 year relevant experience in initiatives where data was treated as strategic asset enabling long term benefit realization
Experience in projects focusing on data standards adoption
Good understanding of Data Management standards and principles
Management experience and capabilities, where asked to deputize
Ability to work in a virtual team environment across geographic boundaries and cultures
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written with stakeholders (internal as well as external)
Able to develop positive relationships. Establish a rapport with customers & achieve mutual trust and respect
Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure, deal with competing priorities
Excellent decision making & problem solving skills. Ability to work on own initiative
Excellent organizational & prioritizing skills
Solid understanding of data modelling, value of meta data, data related regulations (i.e. GDPR, BCBS) would be an advantage
