We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

 

IT Project Manager

Location: Kraków

 

Key Accountabilities:

Manage an end to end infrastructure projects, evergreenings, patching within agreed schedule, budget and scope

Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues

Collaborate with architects, developers, other project managers to deliver suitable infrastructure solution which can cope with the business need

Communicate with senior stakeholders and senior management

Work as an integral part of global cross functional project teams, contributing best project management practices through all phases of the project lifecycle

Ensure systems comply with group infrastructure and security policies and standards

Work closely with ITID domains to influence the practice and standard of infrastructure products

Manage team of IT engineers (DBA, MQ specialist, Linux admin)

 

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management area

IT background with experience across the infrastructure projects (OS, MQ, storage, DB, network, Windows, Microsoft SQL, security etc)

Experienced in project tracking, reporting and governance with deep understanding of the project delivery process

Excellent knowledge of SDLC/Agile methodology

Experience in working within cross functional teams (business, operations, compliance, IT, change)

Strong communication and presentation skills - versatility to communicate effectively with IT, Business, external vendors and high senior management;

Knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the key infrastructure products such as Oracle, Linux, Windows

Understanding of service management techniques, including change management and incident management

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minor or major in computer science

Fluent English

Not required but desired:

Practical experience with delivery, implementation, service and management on external cloud platform such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and/or other cloud solutions

Skills and experience in infrastructure design, implementation and maintenance

Minimum 2 years of experience of financial services (preferably within Wealth Management)

Project management certification is a plus (ex. PMI, CAPM, PMP or PRINCE2)
