IT Business Analyst
Location: Kraków
Working as part of the team, you will be providing a link between the business and development teams for the purpose of requirement elicitation and definition. The BA is responsible for the end to end technical requirement analysis to ensure the holistic delivery of software solutions.
Position is fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
· Business process analysis – analyzing, designing and documenting workflows
· Business requirement analysis – adding detail to high level business requirements and translating them into functional specifications
· Identifying the scope of business requirements projects
· SME for functional business area attached to
· Work with QA to agree test scenarios & help with test script generation for both manual/automated testing & UAT
· Proactively work with developers to ensure the delivery of requirements to schedule
· Stakeholder management and communication
· Coordinate schedules to plan user acceptance testing and manage the feedback process
· Perform first look testing prior to stakeholder UAT
· Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
· Use case analysis and definition
· Requirement work shops
· Work to identify risks and enhance control across the business
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required
· 2+ years end to end project lifecycle experience in a similar role
· Experience in finance domain
· Results oriented with excellent communication skills and must be fluent in English, both written & verbal
· Exceptional attention to detail with a ‘big picture’ approach to analysis.
· Excel to a competent level – Scenario modeling, calculation/formula analysis
Desirable Skills, Knowledge & Experience
· An understanding of technologies used to deliver real time pricing and trading
· Business knowledge in one or more of the following areas (Derivative markets, Risk, Pricing, Trading, Global Regulation, Back Office, Treasury) is beneficial
· Experience within an agile development environment is preferred
