We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER
(System/Application Operator)
Location: Kraków
Key Accountabilities:
A successful candidate will be part of application support team from the Commercial Banking (CMB) business. The candidate will be responsible for environment setup and tests of IT built interfaces to other bank systems.
Provide technical support for given application - work with vendors and other IT stakeholders for problem resolution
Resolve raised technical issues and manage tickets
Identify possible solutions, and work with developers to tune, and implement fixes
Participate in design of information and operational support systems
Requirements (Must have):
University graduate of Computer Science/IT-related field, preferably with major in Software/System engineering or relevant working experience in the field
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation with good command of written and spoken English
Good knowledge of the Operating Systems
Good technical background related to RDBMS in one or more such technologies: Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL
Experience working in Helpdesk/Dev-ops/Support team - excellent troubleshooting skills
Experience with scripting in: VBS, PowerShell, etc.
At least two-year experience supporting IT infrastructure and Operations activities
Experience with administrating MS Windows Desktops/Servers, and Virtual environments
Proactive, can-do and open way of work as a must
Most likely will have to work UK shift at some point to support project work
Additional skills (Nice to Have):
Knowledge of the Resource/Memory Management
Script languages: Python, Bash
DBA or SQL developer background
Experience in Java
Knowledge of Linux
