Information Security Officer
Our Client, one of well-known retail company on the market. To strengthen their operations in Poland we are seeking to recruit ambitious candidate for the position of Security Information Officer (ISO).
Client Details
The hired employee will have a chance to work globally with direct contact to company HQ's security department abroad as well to co-operate with other departments within corporation structures locally providing line management, leadership and strategic direction for the function.
Description
- Defining of security policies both in objectives and needs linked to the information systems of the business unit;
- Contributing to the implementation of the security policy in the organization;
- Assessing risks, threats and consequences in the area of information security and establishing the prevention plans;
- Providing trainings, reports and information regarding to user awareness;
- Participation in the implantation of the information security user's charter;
- Validation of security related tools, including definition of policies and standards within the organization;
- Conducting audits and controls in the area of performance of the information security systems;
- Activating crisis processes in case of Information and systems security disaster;
- Advising the organization with current information about information security technologies and related regulatory issues;
- Contributing to a technology watch to guarantee a good level of security in the organization;
- Supporting the improvement of the technology development regarding the security area of interest;
Profile
- At least 5 years of full-time work experience in information security management or related functions like IT audit or IT Risk Management;
- Hands-on approach with team management or leadership experience, ideally with suitable management qualifications such as an MBA;
- Experience background in technical IT roles such as IT architecture, operations with a clear and abiding interest in information security;
- Trustworthy attitude with high standards of personal integrity and willingness to stay assertive in a variety of situations;
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English is a must;
- Open minded with a business oriented approach and with good communication skills;
- Project management experience with a proper certificate will be an additional asset;
