We are looking for a experienced Head of Development.

Client Details

For our Client - a well established real estate investor - we are seeking for a experienced professional for a position of Head of Development. Successful candidate will be responsible for managing of retail parks schemes program development.

Description

• Be responsible for full cycle investment process, from land acquisition to hand over to Asset Management team within Retail projects area
• Manage project teams responsible for full cycle investment process (land acquisition, development, leasing, project management)
• Prepare product strategy, business plans and budgets
• Identify viable projects and prepare feasibility report to support Board of Directors in decision making process
• Coordinate pre-development and development activities including land acquisition, legal documents, financial planning including development and operating budgets with multiple sources, construction documents and ongoing management of project financials
• Monitor and track construction progress and cost to ensure timely project completion
• Coordinate leasing and marketing process, support key negotiations
• Communicate all agreement milestones and performance items to responsible parties
• Recommending appropriate strategies for maximising profits and minimising risks within investment process
• Prepare regular reports on progress, budgets, and expenditures related to the management of real estate development activities
• Initiate and maintain ongoing cordial professional relationships with outside entities and various stakeholders
• Cooperation with JV partner
• Manage teams, develop competence and skills

Profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Construction or relevant
• At least 10-15 years of professional experience within retail project development field (investment, development, leasing or project management)
• Ability to work with financial concepts and perform financial analysis to assess financial feasibility using a variety of funding sources
• A comprehensive understanding of the real estate industry (preferably retail market)
• Excellent project management, organisational and leadership skills
• Analytically and strategically minded
• Fluency in English
• Sophisticated, tactful, and results-driven negotiation skills
• Outstanding communication and public speaking skills
• Team management experience
