Google Cloud Platform Engineer

As a Google Cloud Platform Engineer you will join project located in Investment and trading area. The purpose of the role is to build highly efficient and scalable GCP infrastructure for traders and their transactions. Project is concerning data factory which is major point of all data acquisition and distribution needs.
You will join the new team and will build the infrastructure from scratches. After that all data on-prem will be stored on GCP.
Essential responsibilities:
- Assessing of analytical products working on the GCP hosted toolset
- Coordination of continuous improvement of deliverables
- Consulting with the Product Owner and team members to provide estimates on delivery timeframe for product backlog items
- Collaborate with other analytical development teams across the globe
- Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code
Required skills:
- Detailed, commercial knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (4+ years of experience)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience with Agile / DevOps environment
- Commercial experience with Java/Scala. Spark, Python will be an asset
- Hands on experience in performing or having a knowledge about extracting, importing, and exporting of data - ETL (extract, transform, load)
- Understanding of using relational and unstructured databases
