We are looking for the person to hold the position GL Accountant with Germanto one of the Shared Service Centre located in Katowice.
New role
As a GL Accountant with Germanyou will be responsible for preparing of journal entries and reconciliations, as well as documentation of the submitted financial data, ensuring that financial records are kept in accordance with compliance requirements, preparing process documentation: desktop procedures and process maps, performing Month / Quarter / Year End Closing activities and Balance Sheet Reconciliations, preparing and posting Journal Entries, participating in reporting and analysis process, supporting preparation of commentaries and variance analysis to Financial Statement, monitoring GL accounts and reviewing of accounting performed by junior accountants.
Our requirements
To be the best candidate for this role you will need to have ,in. 3-4 years of previous experience in accounting/ finance area, previous experience with process documentation, good knowledge of modern accounting practices (General Ledger), very good verbal/ written English and German and SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
