GL Accountant / Senior GL Accountant
Currently we are looking for experienced experts in the GL departments that would like to join new team dedicated to support entities from the EMEA region. A person in this position will firstly participate in knowledge transfer from another location in Europe to Warsaw.

Our Client is a well-known and international company that has a significant impact on our health. Around 1.5 years ago they started to build their SSC structures in the Warsaw City Center. They are supporting business processes for the EMEA region.

Description
- Overseeing financial and accounting process, controlling balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
- Analyzing accounts, preparing reports, reconciling accounts and performing the monthly financial close and consolidation
- Executing month/quarter/year-end close processes
- Maintaining fixed assets and CIP
- Optimizing financial accounting processes
- Driving compliance in all finance-related matters and ensure compliance with policies, statutory requirements and GAAP principles
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Participating in process improvement and standardization activities
Profile
- Higher education in Finance&Accounting or Economics
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience working in the GL department supporting foreign entities
- Very good knowledge of the SAP system, knowledge of Hyperion would be an advantage
- Fluent in English, knowledge of any other European language will be a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and team player
- Continuous Improvement attitude
