For our Client we are building the structures from the scratch and we are looking for experienced GL professionals with fluency in English and one of the following languages:German, Swedish or Flemish.
As a team manager in General Accounting team you will be responsible for:
- Drive teams performance for month and year end, ensuring all activities, up to and including the first narratives are completed which includes understanding and articulating the impact of the results
- Responsible for the maintenance of a complete and accurate Fixed Assets register and report preparation including review and understanding of variances month on month basis
- Preparation of monthly / quarterly schedules, trend and variance analysis including narratives and impact understanding
- Preparation and full understanding of the balance sheet reconciliations
- Closely monitor AP / AR/ Payroll / Tax processes for end to end ownership of financials
- Responsible for the model, baseline data and collection, trend graphs and comparatives
- Responsible for all customer standard reporting and validation where contractual obligations allow
- Updating and maintaining best in class Knowledge Transfer documents, alongside the business finance teams
- Acts as the gatekeeper for the General accounting ensuring compliance with standard processes & controls
