To realise our ambitious goals, we need enhancement. We are looking for a qualified Fund Accountantfor our Area Administration Services, department Fund Accounting for the team Derivatives & FX.

Within the department Fund Accounting you are responsible for the full processing, booking and control of foreign exchange actions, ETD and OTC derivatives deals. To ensure automated processing you will be the first point of contact to develop our interfaces with our IT.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Full processing (control of the interfaces and booking in the fund accounting system Xentis) of ETD- and OTC-derivatives transactions, also FX transactions
• Processing, booking and control as well as monitoring of all ETD, OTC and FX events (including expiry, option exercises and assignments, corporate actions, mar-gin bookings, NDF fixings, resets, EMIR reporting)
• Control and alignment of internal and external positions with the statements of the custodian and clearer accounts
• Assisting colleagues in processing Colllaterals and EMIR notifications
• Regular contacts with custodians, clearers and counter-parties for operational is-sues, including complaints handling
• Direct partner for advisors and asset managers regarding complaints and delivery formats
• Maintaining documents for internal departments and internal and external auditors
• Participation / Cooperation in the implementation of new processing services and optimisation
• Participation / Cooperation in the technical and technical development of the daily business
• Participation / Cooperation in (fund) projects
• Direct reporting to the Team Head of Derivatives & FX

Qualifications, Experience/ Skills and Key Competencies
The successful candidate will bring the following:
• Bank officer training or comparable training, supplemented where applicable by a university degree in banking studies or business management;
• Several years' professional experience in the fund accounting department of an investment management company or custodian and/or in the derivatives settlement department of a bank or a clearer;
• Knowledge of the interaction between an investment company, clearer, custodian & customer;
• Previous experience with Asset Managers, different contracting parties, brokers, third party banks, transfer agents, etc.;
• Knowledge of different investment products / finance instruments (derivatives, swaps, securities, loans, funds, fixed deposits, etc.);
• Practical experience with the fund accounting system XENTIS is an advantage
• Very good knowledge in MS Office and its applications
• High technical affinity
• Very good English skills, German would be an advantage

Furthermore, the successful candidate will bring ability to work under pressure and to make decisions in a timely and qualitative manner. Moreover, she/he combines outstanding analytical skills with the ability to keep track of essentials while pursuing a solution-oriented approach.

In this role, you would interact on a regular basis with Asset Managers, Custodians and internal stakeholders. Therefore, a high level of self-confidence combined with excellent communication skills are required.
