Aa Financial Control Expert you will be part of a new global Lease Accounting Team which is responsible for implementation new accounting standards and reporting Lease obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical accounting guidance of US GAAP reporting standards for Global Lease Accouting team.
- Take part in the implementation of new Lease Accounting Standards incl. frequent interaction with team members and various stakeholders.
- Take part in definition and implementation of SOX and internal controls.
- Support the quarterly and year-end public reporting process through preparation and consultation assistance on Lease Accounting Standard.
- Cooperate with Corporate Accounting team from US and assist in the creation and implementation of Finance Instructions across the group and relevant outsourced providers.
- Make sure that all US GAAP documentation is complete and updated if any changes occur.
- Act as an Expert to support various stakeholders (internal and external).
Reguirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Excellent knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards reporting requirements.
- 3+ years of experience in financial reporting or audit.
- ACCA / CPA qualification will be an asset.
- Experience in interpretation, application, and documentation of technical accounting rules and regulations.
- Experience in the new process implementation will be an asset.
- Solid communication and cooperation skills.
- Ability to work in multinational environment.
- Very good English.
