We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

 

Financial Control Expenditure Subject Matter Expert

Location: Kraków

 

Responsibilties:

Manage end of month process - Accruals & Provisions - to ensure that calculations availability of information necessary to prepare timely and accurate financial reports

Control the period end close process for department in France, ensuring high quality over the processes for Accruals, Provisions, VAT and Tax analysis

Support with Analysis of non-standard invoices and recharges

Monitor and Review General Ledger Account Substantiation for the purpose of Monthly Balance Certification process align with Sox and Internal audit requirements

Provide good analysis / commentaries on the figures

Maintain company’s internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external auditors

Work closely with other Teams in France, actively supporting Business and Finance Team providing answer the queries from the MIP team, procurement team and the businesses. Preparation of various ad-hoc dashboards

Assist with implementation of new systems / processes

 

Required skills:

At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting or control with excellent analytical skills

Relevant University degree or Internationally recognized professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA)

Excellent English written and verbal skills

Good understanding of Microsoft Office Tools, particulary Excel on a high level

Knowledge of Financial Services

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels

Good planning and organizational skills, with ability to adapt to changing situations and to grasp new issues quickly
