Finance Performance Manager

• Finance Performance Manager will be responsible for working with the operational leadership of the individual businesses within Poland organization to initiate and drive commercial and cost improvement actions
• The successful candidate will possess a strong balance of strategic thinking, business and financial acumen, operational orientation, influence, and change management skills
• This role reports directly to Country CFO

Our client, a well-established market leader, seeks a Finance Performance Manager for their Warsaw office.

Description

• To facilitate business improvement initiatives by aligning with Management Boards and relevant middle level managers and Country Management on key priorities across each business line
• Manage individual projects, monitor overall portfolio performance and ensure progress against targeted metrics.
• To ensure the production of accurate and timely KPI analysis and appropriate user-centric reports to constantly improve the performance of the business units within the relevant business area
• To develop and maintain a suite of relevant KPIs to measure and to benchmark OpCos' performance against their Group and market peers and against the best in class market players
• To analyse deeply all generated KPI's and reports to challenge "as is" position with the aim to identify areas for cost and efficiency improvements and to increase overall profitability across the business areas
• To identify short and long term strategic initiatives to support businesses' improvement & growth plans
• To liaise with OpCOs (Management Boards and relevant middle level managers) and to establish a working communication platform with a joint focus on identifying new performance improvement opportunities
• Communicate results and share proves tactics and best practices across the organization to enable adoption
• To participate actively in the process of Road Map projects identification; to monitor actively with the detailed insight the progress of these projects together with deep understanding of their planned and actual financial impact
• To develop and to present to Country Top Management plans and ideas to adjust business processes driving business improvements and enhanced production, cost and commercial efficiencies
• The one will be assigned to 3-4 lines of business, and will provide internal consulting and support to enable each company to share and leverage best practices, execute against agreed upon business improvement strategies, and realize near to mid-term financial results

Profile

• Higher education in a business and finance
• ACCA or equivalent is a must
• Experience in establishing business processes and managing performance - proven track record of managing business improvement initiatives that delivered meaningful and measurable results
• Thorough understanding of financial and operational management and the practical organizational dynamics that affect the results and change efforts
• Task orientated with high problem solving ability
• Strong communication and presentation skills (both oral and written).
• Strategic, proactive and forward thinking
• Attitude of "Challenge and ask difficult questions"
• High ethical standards
• Strong business acumen
• Strong Leadership Skills
• Ability to analyse complex datasets.
• A high level working knowledge of Business Intelligence systems

• Country Functional Directors (Procurement, Commercial, IT, etc) , OpCOs Financial Controllers, OPCOs Operational Managers,
