Finance Director
Lead accounting, budget and tax functions service across Eastern Europe Area including Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Baltics countries. Oversee preparation and submission of accurate and timely reports, which meet the requirements of various internal and external organizations.

Our client, an international financial company, part of the global brand, currently is seeking to recruit a Finance Director.
Description
- Leads and support international accounting team located in Poland, Romania, Czech Republic & Slovakia responsible accounting, budget and tax functions;
- Provides financial modeling and analysis services to leadership in support of business planning and operational decision-making;
- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts;
- Prepares internal management reports with appropriate analysis and comments, such as the significant figures report and income statement variances reports;
- Provides diverse analysis of actual operating results compared to budget;
- Provides and maintains adequate books and records of all financial transactions;
- Prepares and distributes on a timely basis reports to the Corporate Accounting Department according to U.S. GAAP;
- Reports financial information to corporate treasury, real estate, legal, accounting, etc., as required for their external reporting press releases and surveys;
- Supervise all necessary accounting and tax reporting to meet local needs;
- Identifies and resolves system problems and may have leadership role in maintenance of the system;
- Supervise all aspects of local Central Banks reporting requirements;
- Partner with subject matter experts to identify, prioritise and support delivery of process optimization opportunities;
Profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in progressive roles in finance, including at least 3 years on a similar position in international environment;
- Experience in leasing or financial organization;
- Master's degree in Business Economics/Administration; Professional qualification - CIMA, ACCA - is a plus;
- Knowledge of US GAAP;
- Advanced knowledge of and the ability to interpret various US GAAP;
- Strong decision-making and analytical skills and ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously, with minimal involvement from management;
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop staff and persuade others to take action;
