Finance Associate (Tax)
Currently we are searching for the Finance Associate (Tax) to a tax team. The successful candidate will be assigned to many interesting projects within tax compliance, technology and operations. If you have solid finance knowledge, you like to improve processes, work with finance data and create financial reports - this position will be perfect for you!
Client Details
Our Client is an American company from the financial sector. Last year they decided to open their international structures in the Warsaw City Center and currently they are continuing the creation of their internal teams.
Description
- Supporting the design, improvement and maintenance of the Tax software and automation tools using technologies such as VBA, Alteryx and Tableau
- Reviewing various tax workpapers, partnership allocations and tax estimates
- Assisting the tax compliance process
- Generating Schedules K-1 and tax return templates
- Assisting with external audits
- Participating in the creation and development of newly created tax team
- Handling ad-hoc queries from other departments if required
Profile
- Higher education in Finance and Accounting or similar
- Minimum 4 years of work experience in the field of accounting or taxation
- Advanced Computer and Technology experience and skills (MS Office, VBA, SQL, nice to have Java and Tableau knowledge)
- Excellent English
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
- Problem-solving skills and ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Very good analytical skills and impeccable attention to detail
- Interest in working with technology and automation
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in learning about all aspects of tax compliance and operations
