European FP&A Manager
Strategic role as European FP&A Manager within international capital group with carrier development opportunities .
Client Details
Our client is a major multinational company with distribution operations in Southern Poland. As a result of continued growth, the company is currently looking for a highly experienced and energetic candidate for the position of European FP&A Manager. The selected candidate will report directly to the Finance Director responsible for European operations.
Description
- Preparing short and long term financial analysis in the sales area
- Preparing and coordinating reporting for quarterly review purposes
- Providing recommendations and conclusions for the purpose of management decision making
- Providing ad hoc reports and analyses
- Close cooperation with a shared service centre overseas and central FP&A team in Europe
- Managing a team of analysts
- Reporting to HQ (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Short and long-term profit forecasts (5 years Long Term Plans, annual budget, budget revisions) - including strategic planning
- Profitability analysis by format of stores and product groups - recommendation of changes in long term strategy
- Cash flow forecasts
- Capital investment process co-ordination
- Introduction of bottom-up approach in planning in Commercial Department (including competitors analysis)
- Evaluation and monitoring of impacts of productivity improving projects on P&L, Balance Sheet and Key Performance Indicators
- Elaboration of the stock rotation management system using BI technology
Profile
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in international business environment
- Good knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- VBA would be a strong advantage
- A very good command of English
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A highly self-motivated, proactive and flexible individual
