European Cost Accounting Manager
Our fast-growing multiinternational client, we have started the search for a newly created position.
The European Costing Manager will supervise costing methodology and the costing team in Europe . In addition, the chosen candidate will supervise its costing team for all business units. The role is very challenging as the operating environment of our client has been changing a lot in the recent time.

Description
- Manage the cost accounting staff in Poland and in Europe ;
- Oversees the cost control systems, manages and interprets cost audits, and prepares cost accounting reports for presentation to management ;
- Ensures that costs for the company's products and services are allocated according to corporate procedures and in compliance with financial accounting standards ;
- Prepare estimates of costs for unique products to establish prices of products and to forecast production ;
- Apply the budget in costing system - set up rates and other cost elements ;
- Monthly analysis of manufacturing variances: materials price and quantity variances, conversion costs variances ;
- Organisation of monthly cost review meeting with plant management ;
- Constant improvement of costing system ;
Profile
- Effective leadership and motivational traits in supporting the costing and / or controlling unit ;
- University degree, or post graduate in Accounting / Economics ;
- 10 years of experience in accounting and financial controlling / costing in a manufacturing plant in a global organisation ;
- Proficiency in the use of oral and written English and Polish language ;
- Ability to travel to support other European countries (25% of time) ;
- Advanced IT skills: Excel, fluent in data analysis, ERP knowledge ;
- Ability to apply dynamism and logical judgement to diverse challenging situations ;
