We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join an existing team in the role of Entity Level Controls Lead. 

Your new role
The role holder will be responsible for:
• Owning the bank wide ELC framework and approach, implementing the framework across the bank including influencing Senior Executives and accountable for reporting ELC framework to Executive and Board Risk Committees, External Auditors, and where appropriate dealing with Regulators.
• Scoping and planning ELC activities to support delivery of the annual assessment processes within the company in Poland, US and Canada;
• Maintaining ELC frameworks, systems, and templates used to assess ELCs within the company in Poland, US and Canada,
• Operating, managing and delivering ELC Governance and reporting;
• Managing the interaction and support processes for education of the ELC owners and their delegates;
• Acting as a key point of contact and sharing assessment outputs with key Internal (Finance, Internal Audit) and External (External Auditors) stakeholders.
• Co-ordinating assurance activity to support ELC assessments and will deliver governance reporting required by the framework.

Responsibilities:
• The role will involve extensive liaisons with ELC owners, delegates, and assurance teams, and ability to influence at senior level to oversee, and challenge the ELC monitoring work performed by ELC owners and their teams.
• Support engagement across all ELC owners and delegates, providing support, and education on the framework and approach within the company in Poland, US and Canada.
• Provide oversight and challenge of the control assessments performed by ELC Owners to ensure that a robust and accurate reflection of the control environment is maintained and reported.
• Maintain the overall framework, governance, systems and approach for ELCs.
• Working effectively with stakeholders to ensure that all ELC owners deliver assessments and reporting on time.
• Co-ordinate and oversee assurance activity delivered by other designated assurance teams.
• Deliver timely, concise and accurate reporting on ELCs to senior governance forums such as NFRMB, GRMM, and GRC as required by the framework.
• Leading the interaction with external auditors throughout the year and where required, with regulators.
• Leading and influencing ELC owners, delegates, and assurance teams.
• Lead the design and delivery of the role holder’s components of the annual plan, liaising with relevant stakeholders as and when required.
• Engage and influence ELC owners and their teams, and the designated assurance functions to support delivery of the ELC plans and assessments.
• The role will involve delivering a number of high-profile and critical deliverables that will require the input and collaboration of stakeholders within ORR and other areas of the bank.

What you'll need to succeed
• Remain up-to-date on global regulatory developments as they relate to ELCs and assurance to support strengthen the company’s internal control framework.
• Understanding of recognized industry internal control frameworks (e.g. COSO).
• Knowledge of delivering SoX frameworks and assurance reviews.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of emerging and existing technologies.
• Relevant external financial services qualification (e.g. CIA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CISA).
