Your new role
The role holder will be responsible for API & Core Services team locally. This role is for an engineering site lead of the API development teams responsible for building APIs across department and other lines of business.
- Prove leadership for API & Core services team local and ensuring the expected outcomes, including costs and headcount efficiencies
- Create and evolve the organisation of the team
- Drive performance for the team and hold them accountable for delivery
- Make hiring plans and hiring decisions
- Provide frequent feedback and coaching of the team
- Provide a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for your team to execute on its priorities
- Communicate at all levels from senior leaders to individual contributors, including technical and non-technical audiences
- Adapt the teams plans and goals to support the business strategy
- Own the team’s output, taking responsibility for their performance
- Resource and Talent Management
- Vendor Management – Third Party Management
- Supporting the team in their journey through line management, training and career development
