For our Client - a global financial service centre which is providing operational and professional services to support various business groups and functions.

Your new role

On a position of the Elevated Support you will be responsible for providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd (where possible) level support for the Execs, Trader and Premier user based in Germany and providing support or leading technical projects that impact users.

The Elevated Support role is based within the CS Germany Support team, based in Poland.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Comprehensive support of all Execs, Traders and Premier users IT issues and problems
  • Elevated Support, including dealer boards, 3rd party market data applications Bloomberg & Reuters and first line for in house trading applications
  • Troubleshooting and management of issues with the Windows and mobile estate
  • Installation and configuration of desktop and mobile devices
  • Providing a worldservice to all our customers
  • Take ownership, and be a central point of contact, for any issue reported by our customers ensuring professional and regular communication is provided

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of working in a pressurised IT customer facing environment.
  • MCSE or significant experience working with Microsoft Operating Systems and applications required.
  • Proven experience in delivering projects with desired results to deadlines
  • Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Microsoft Windows Technologies.
  • Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Has experience of managing a large, complex and diverse Technical environment.
  • Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Has a proven experience of successfully supporting and in some cases delivering technical projects
  • Past working experience on relevant systems, i.e. Manage the infrastructures for all Windows desktops
  • Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10, Internet Explorer, MS Office, is desirable but not essential
  • Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Microsoft certified is desirable but not essential
  • A track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service
  • A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
  • Self-awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development
  • Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
  • Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals
  • Planned projects and activities systematically in line with business priorities, using a variety of analysis and problem solving techniques
  • Supported project teams/managers, showing an understanding of the basic principles of project management
  • Experience of personally complying with business processes, rules and regulations
  • In addition to the details listed above, the ideal candidate will have the ability to articulate technical detail at the right level depending on the audience and ability to effectively communicate at all levels
