For our Client, well-known company located in Krak贸w, we are currently looking for a person interested in the role of DevOps Engineer.
Your new role
Holding this position you will be responsible for daily operations of Linux based high availability systems. You will be expected to develop and maintain standardised configurations for related technologies and to ensure that high levels of security, performance and availability are delivered for in scope applications. You will also operate and maintain AWS and data centre infrastructure used for hosting systems and application modules. Your duties will include managing and maintaining operations of VMware and storage services, and supporting the Shared Service Team Leader to establish and maintain standard practices on specification, configuration and management of hosted systems to support operation and growth within private and AWS data centres. You will also be expected to troubleshoot performance, quality and availability issues, and to provide outstanding support to key stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful Candidate on this role you need to possess at least 3 years of experience in public cloud (preferably AWS), private cloud and co-location, VMware, and storage solutions. You also need to have deep knowledge of Linux (Debian, RedHat/CentOS) and solid understanding of how to configure, deploy, manage and maintain large systems, including auto-scaling, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting and disaster recovery. Deep understanding of fundamental technologies such as DNS, DHCP, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, and strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) are also required. AWS certification will be an asset.
