Development Director (Logistics Investment Fund)

We are seeking for an experienced Development Director.

For our Client - a well established real estate investment fund - we are seeking for a experienced Development Director. Successful candidate will be responsible for creating new business function and support the portfolio growth by land acquisition and development activities.

Description

• Work closely with the CEO to create company development strategy
• Be responsible for land acquisition, development and construction area
• Create financial models to support development opportunities and plans
• Develop and maintain critical business community relationships with the state and local governmental and quasi-governmental authorities and private engineering firms
• Perform detailed review and analysis of entitlement status of prospective acquisitions on a continuous basis, including assessment of due diligence information and documentation
• Prepare memorandum, other documentation and analytics for corporate approval for land buys
• Create budgets and project schedule
• Work closely with clients to fulfil BTS requirements
• Supervise construction and hand over process
• Create and develop a team

Profile

• Master's Degree in finance, real estate or relevant
• At least 10 years of experience within land acquisition and development area (preferably logistics market)
• Experience steering numerous real estate development projects through an acquisition, development and construction phase
• Excellent process design, project management, organisation, and negotiation skills
• Experience developing, analysing, and managing budgets
• Fluency in English is a must
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience would be preferred
• Highly developed communication skills
