Demand Analyst (strategic senior)
A very strategic analytical role that will supply the work of demand specialists with other departments in order to achieve the maximum efficiency of demand planning for the region for the new business center of a global company in Kraków.

Our client is a global, American company manufacturing chemicals. Their wide range of products are sold to numbers of consumer and industrial end markets.
Description
- Owning the demand plan for the next 24 months on the detailed SKU/Customer level
- Proposing and implementing solutions to improve the forecast accuracy, primarily by liaising with the Commercial team
- Following up on Sales targets
- Analyzing and validating production requirements
- Understanding how supply constraints are affecting the demand plan
- Developing mitigation action plans whenever supply cannot meet demand
- Communicate demand plan changes to supply planning team, but also to all necessary stakeholders (operations, customer service, supply chain, marketing, sales)
- Support marketing department in portfolio rationalization
- Act as a counterpart for other regions demand planners - global liaison
- Review necessity of safety stock and determine their value
- Achieve the regional inventory target for Perf Chemicals
- Consolidate and manage demand changes, adjust safety stock, pre-build inventories when outage and help to reduce slow moving and obsolete (SLOB)
Profile
- Senior experience in Demand planning and forecasting, ideally in the chemical sector
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel), ideally with SAP experience and forecasting/planning tools
- Fluency in English, (French and German) as a plus
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience within international, dynamic environment will be a strong asset
- Excellent communication skills - previous experience in liaison with sales and marketing departments (a plus)
