To achieve our ambitious growth goals we are currently looking for a Database & Backend Developer (m/f/d).
At Universal-Investment, we heavily rely on our high-performance DWH infrastructure based on Oracle and MS SQL Server to process multi-million transactions per day for financial reporting and risk measurement for our customers. As a valued member of our software development team, you develop, maintain and performance-tune custom applications, interfaces and database-driven processes. The team is distributed across Frankfurt and Krakow and works according to agile and state-of-the art development standards.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Develop and improve Stored Procedures, Packages and other Database Objects;
• Create and maintain Services, APIs, Software Integrations and Backend Solutions
• Take responsibility for providing high-performance, automated data integration processes
• Analyze new feature requirements and issues
• Collaborate closely with internal customers & stakeholders, and with other tech teams
• Build up and share know-how, support architectural reviews
As successful candidate, you will bring the following:
• Master/Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Profound knowledge in database technologies, especially Oracle and MS SQL
• Advanced experience with development in ORACLE-SQL and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge in MS SQL Integration Services (SSIS)
• Good programming skills in C#/.NET/VisualStudio
• Nice to Have: Experience in rapid application development with ORACLE APEX
• Experience with CI/CD toolchain (e.g. TFS, DevOps Server) and agile projects
• A high level of commitment, flexibility and reliability
• Effective communication skills, fluent in English is a must, German language skills would be beneficial
