As part of our EmergingTechnologies team, we are looking for a forward-thinking individual in the field of DataScience / Artificial Intelligence to deliver considerable business impact. In this role, youwill work in a multidisciplinary team to design and develop analytical solutions through application of Data Mining, Machine and Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence and latest digital technologies.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Increase the maturity of Universal-Investment’s current analytical capabilities to true machine intelligence and take advantage of emerging technologies around Data Science and AI
• Understand business needs and identify Data Science / AI use cases and opportunities
• Help develop new products and services for our internal and external clients
• Analyze Universal-Investment’s existing data landscape and work with structured and unstructured data, including external data sources and APIs
• Build and optimize models using machine learning techniques including feature selection & engineering, boosting, deep learning and ensembles
• Architect and implement AI solutions involving natural language processing, speech, computer vision, bots and agents
• Support creating a Data Science Governance during the inception phase of the data science team
Your Profile:
• Master’s Degree or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related fields
• Relevant practical work experience in research and/or industry (Financial Services / Asset Management preferred, but not a must)
• Passionate about data, data science methodologies, new technologies, digitalization
• Broad and expanding knowledge of innovative methods/algorithms, and ability to apply knowledge to practical problems
• Deep understanding and working experience with relevant technologies and tools, such as Spark, Hadoop, SQL/NoSQL databases, MS Azure AI & ML services, PowerBI
• Strong experience in Python or R, ideally also in C#/.NET
• Good data storytelling and visualization skills
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodology
