For our international client, located in Kraków, we are currently looking for Data Manager.
Your new role
Holding this role you will be responsible for managing the collection of the GB/ GF requirements related to data cataloguing capability and assuring that the functional design are in line with overall Group Data Management strategy and standards. In particular your job will require creation, elicitation and management of Data Catalogue product backlog and participation to relevant committees to present value proposition. Also you will collaborate with other Data Management product owners in order to assure consistency of end2end Data Management capability. Your knowledge and expertise will be of use to provide recommendations to onboard data products into catalogue solutions across GB/ GFs.The collaboration with them to determine their data catalogue needs and associated requirements will also be a part of your role. You will assist in the development of communities of practice from across the organisation and also assist with new technology proof of concept’s to test the product or design functionality. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a holistic and integrated Group Data Management strategy.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful Candidate, you need to demonstrate at least 5 years’ experience working in a data- related role, data management, data architecture or data engineering. Good knowledge and understanding of the power and value of data and an ability to apply technology solutions to meet business needs. Your experience in dealing with senior stakeholders and rationalising cross line of business and function priorities along with a strong influence and leadership skills are also required. What is more your ability to prioritise work, to set and manage objectives and ensure delivery of team objectives with time, budget and resources along with a proven strength in conceptual and logical thinking, sound judgement, sense of urgency are desired. Due to work in international environment, you need to hold fluent knowledge of English language.
