For our Client, well-known company from financial industry located in Kraków we are looking for a person interested in the role of Data Management Analyst.
Your new role
Person in this role will be responsible for supporting in providing a data lineage view to discover the data flow/movement from its source to destination via various changes, advise on change activities which involve data sources, affect data processes or impact data service provision as well as drive the adoption of data lineage discovery software and adoption of methodologies such as Agile and DevOps which incorporates data modelling capabilities.
Moreover, you will deploy and maintain Metadata applications for recording and maintaining data lineage to understand, visualize and optimise the sources and flow of data across the company; provide support to complete specific project deliverables and activities, such as documentation of requirements and data remediation strategies across the Data Governance, Data Usage and Flow, Data Quality Measurement, and Data Quality Issue Management work streams; create and maintain project plans and status reports, tracking progress within and across work streams, to confirm that appropriate progress is being made in relation to milestones and deadlines.
Additionally you will serve as the liaison between the Data Governance, Data Usage and Flow, Data Quality Measurement, and Data Quality Issue Management work streams, and facilitate appropriate stakeholder involvement, identify and monitor risks and issues, and support mitigation and resolution efforts, such as escalating to the appropriate contacts.
What you'll need to succeed
An ideal candidate should have data management experience,very strong management, analytical and interpersonal skills as well as proven experience in identifying and managing the risks, issues and dependencies related to complex data projects. Moreover, ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business users as well as outstanding written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
Good knowledge of regulatory trends and developments (with particular data focus) will be a huge advantage.
